Wende Cragg on her Breezer

Wende riding her clunker in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Wende Cragg was one of only a few women who rode with the boys not only when mountain biking was first being established as a genuine sport, but when the clunker was first being physically realized.  Thanks to Wende's documentation of the numerous racing events, the evolution of the sport and the mountain bike was captured in still photographs.  Wende's photographs turned mountain biking into an art form.
